We
adventured to the capital. Connected by one hour train journey, we wanted to
feel the Olympic spirit in the city. For our surprise, it looked very quite; a pleasant
London flowing without a hurry.
We met
with my husband for lunch, he works in the City, and for the same reason, we concentrated
in the area of the Tate Museum, Bank of England and Southwark. We wanted to go to Stratford and see the
borders of the Olympic Village, but London is SO big that the day was consumed
easily with the previous plans.
We finished
our day with pizzas and refreshments in a pub by the river Thames, while the
rolling of the small waves were making us sleepy, it was time to go home and
rest.
